Nancy S. Hughes pulls off a challenging trick in her latest diabetic cookbook. She has devised more than 100 tasty recipes with only four ingredients, or less, that are especially suitable and suited to the dietary needs of diabetics. When you limit ingredients, the first victim is depth of flavor, but Hughes employs a variety of tricks to correct this, like lemon zest in Greek Chicken with Lemon, or onion soup mix in Home-style Double-Onion Roast. Nutritional and exchange information is supplied for each dish, and she thoughtfully rounds out the book with useful all-purpose tips, like using low-carb vegetables to boost the volume of starchy dishes, adding instant coffee to deepen chocolate flavors and substituting equal amounts of cauliflower for potatoes. Those on a restricted diet will appreciate this wide range of simple dishes, as well as tips and tricks for enhancing everyday staples.
This is the first diabetic cookbook you should purchase, if you need to make quick and simple diabetic meals. You can whip up many of the dishes in just a couple of minutes. The ingredients are not complicated and are easy to keep on hand. You can make your entire holiday dinners for the whole family and no one will suspect that it is “special” food! To buy other diabetic cookbooks is an excellent idea, however you will not discover any other diabetic cookbook as good or as simple as “The 4-Ingredient Diabetes Cookbook.” Most diabetic recipes in the other books have longer lists of ingredients and take much more time to prepare.
In “The 4-Ingredient Diabetes Cookbook” you find simple diabetic recipes that are quick and easy to prepare, the diabetic recipes range from Pineapple-Apricot Fizz; Lemony Asparagus Spear Salad; Peach Barbecued Chicken; and Chili Stuffed Potatoes to Taco-Spiced Rice; Skillet Roasted Veggies; Zesty Beef Patties with Grilled Onions; and Frozen Chocolate Peanut Butter Layered Pie. Of special note are the ‘Cook’s Tips’ that accompany each of the recipes. The recipes are delicious as you can tell from their descriptive titles. In my view, any recipe that passes diabetic guidelines will keep the appetite satisfied and fuel your bodies appropriately. Most importantly, these recipes appeal to your senses in making mealtime a pleasure with foods you want to enjoy again and again. This diabetic cookbook is one that should be kept in your collection. DON’T WAIT, BUY IT TODAY!

Before buying the book, I would like to see a couple of the recipes that are in it. This would help me decide if it would be a book I would be interested in. I have several foods that I cannot eat and it seems that they are always included in diabetic recipes.
Su, I understand, if you can give me a list of foods that are not available for your diet; I would be able to tell you whether you can use this diabetic cookbook.
